1 Kings 19:1-18

1. MOVE TOWARD GOD (vs. 1-11)

Too often we see only the bread and the water, but fail to see the ANGEL.

He was about to have a summit WITH God on the summit OF God.

2. LISTEN FOR THE VOICE OF GOD
Most often, God doesn’t speak in NOISE or commotion.
Sometimes the softer the voice the LOUDER the message.
God is the God of WONDERS, but also the God of whispers.

3. HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD
A.Get in a PLACE where you can hear God.
B.Take TIME to Listen for God’s voice.
A direct correlation exists between obedience to PAST leadership and FUTURE promptings.
C.Be obedient to God’s INSTRUCTIONS (vv. 15-18).

God never brings us face to face with him for us to STAY there.
The point is this: Even in the silence, GOD is there.
