LUKE 23:39-43

“Words that shook the world: Final words from the cross”.

Socrates – “Crito, I owe a rooster to Asclepius. Will you remember to pay the debt?”

Andrew Jackson – “Oh do not cry. Be good children and we shall meet in heaven”

The three crosses are said to illustrate Romans 6:23
The cross on the right says the wages of sin is death.
The left cross says but the gift of God is eternal life.
The center cross says through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1. GOOD DEEDS WON’T GET YOU INTO PARADISE (BAD DEEDS CAN’T KEEP YOU OUT)

Grace is something we all need but don’t deserve.

2. THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE A RESERVATION IN PARADISE IS THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.

A. Admit
B. Believe
C. Confess

3. THE PROMISE OF JESUS CONFIRMS YOUR RESERVATION IN PARADISE.
