Don’t Lose Heart

Psalm 57
1 Sam. 24:1-7

1. David Praised His Way Through His Problem

- David’s Response To Saul’s Threat
-He cried out to God
-He praised God
-His focus realigned

2. David Left It In God’s Hands

- Be careful to guard the voices you allow to speak into your life
-The temptation is there to take matters into your own hands
-Know and trust the Father’s heart

3. David Saw His Problem In Its Proper Perspective

-The enemy wants your problem to appear bigger than it really is
-The cave teaches us that while our problem is closer than ever, it can do nothing to harm us.
-There is a light at the end of the tunnel, but your focus on the problem keeps you from seeing that.

As your problems pile up the giant seems big, but it cannot strike. Things from God’s perspective look different. Ask to see your problems through His eyes. Hold on. Don’t lose heart.
