1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

1.We are thankful or we become BITTER.

2.We are thankful or we will be DISCOURAGED.

3.We are thankful or we will grow ARROGANT and

4.SELF SATISFIED.

1. Thanksgiving is the exercise of a JOYFUL and PRAYING heart.

It is a mark of the WICKED that they have no THANKFULNESS.

It is a mark of the SAINTS in heaven that they are full of THANKSGIVING.

It is a mark of the SAINTS on earth to give THANKS.
Grateful – is something we FEEL inside.
Thankful – is something we EXPRESS outwardly.

2. Thanksgiving must be UNIVERSAL in its SPHERE.

3. The REASON for such an ACTION.

Rom. 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his PURPOSE.
