•STEP #1 – SEE GOD'S LOVE IN ACTION

1)God showed how much he loved us by sending his ONLY SON into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. – 1 John 4:9

2)This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and SENT his Son as A SACRIFICE to take away our sins. – 1 John 4:10

3)Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the SAVIOR of the world. – 1 John 4:14
•Jesus could only be our SAVIOR if He was first our ATONING sacrifice.

•STEP #2 – ACCEPT GOD'S LOVE FOR YOUVss. 7, 8. 9, 10, 11, 12, 16

•STEP #3 – MAKE GOD'S LOVE YOUR LOVE

• Agape loves even when love is not DESERVED.
• Agape loves without RESTRICTIONS
• It reaches out to meet the need wherever a need arises.
• Agape loves by CHOICE and by WILL, not just by feeling and emotion
• It is the only kind of love that can be commanded.
• Agape loves without counting the cost, and without CALCULATING its own profit.
• Agape loves the UNLOVABLE, EXPECTING nothing in return.
