Hebrews 12:1-3

Abraham twice DECEIVED a king.
Joseph’s PRIDE nearly got him killed.

David committed ADULTERY then had her husband KILLED.

1. Proper DISCIPLINE.

We often used the phrase in sports “no pain no GAIN”.

2. Passionate DETERMINATION.

“It doesn’t really matter how many times you get KNOCKED down, only how many times you get BACK up.”

God never demands that we finish in FIRST place. But he does expect FAITHFULNESS.
