7. Blessed are the peacemakers.
8. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness

1. THE REALITY: When you LIVE for CHRIST you WILL be persecuted. 2 Timothy 3:12

2. THE REASON: You will be HATED because you’re DIFFERENT. John 15:18

3. THE REACTION: Make the CHOICE to REJOICE when you suffer for Jesus. 1 Peter 4:16

4. THE REWARD: Great is our reward in heaven. Matthew 5:12

06-01-08 - A GOD WHO IS PERFECTLY HOLY

The 21st century church seems to be more concerned with getting right than we are with living right.

For Christians, the problem is not so much a matter of wanting to be holy as it is winning the battle to be holy.

1. SEPARATION
Sober can have two meanings, just like the English word. It can mean, "not intoxicated," and it can mean "clear-headed, discreet.“
